Jackson has worked with Chicho Lorenzo and focussed on the development of his technical skills. This learning is conducted online with the support and guidance of his father Glenn Macdonald while in Australia.
Most recently, Jackson has been inducted into the Honda Racing School in Suzuka, Japan to work with the likes of former MotoGP racer Mr Tadayuki Okada and other experts, further providing Jackson to develop his learning and actively work with other racers. Combined with placement on the Takeishi Technical Racing Team in Japan, the combined efforts from training to race day - delivers.
Jackson invites riders to join him for regular and ad hoc sessions at his base, one hour north of Melbourne. There is access to motocross and trails. Off-bike physical training in the gym and access to the running/bike trails of the state forest nearby. The added bonus, a technical training space is also available.
Technical
Jackson's base is home to a large technical skills area that can be ridden wet or dry, and under lights.
Overseen by Glenn Macdonald - founder of the Motocross Advanced Coaching Academy and GMR Motorex KTM the area is designed with original - world class technical maps and practiced very specifically in the Lorenzo Method.
Glenn has worked with some of the world's best motocross riders however only few know that he has also mentored several Australian Road Race legends on the ASBK circuit and he himself is also a Level 2 Motorcycling Australia Master Coach and multiple National Champion in Motocross, Dirtrack and Supermotard.
MX, Dirt Track & Trials
Multiple tracks to explore, all overseen by Glenn Macdonald - founder of the Motocross Advanced Coaching Academy and GMR Motorex KTM.
Glenn has worked with some of the world's best motocross riders such as the Lawrence Brothers, world junior champion Jay Wilson, freestyle legend Jaryd McNeill and MXGP star Mitch Evans...among others.
There is plenty of space to explore trials and there is access to a dirt track circuit just 20 minutes away.
