Jackson Macdonald Racing | Honda Racing School x TTR Racing

Jackson Macdonald Racing confirms Honda Racing School program and Suzuka Sunday Series GP-3 racing plan for 2026.

With an impressive performance on debut at Phillip Island in January on board the Honda NSF250, Jackson has been invited to Japan to continue his development with a focus on race skills, working within a team environment and event exposure. 

The world renowned Honda Racing School centres around Suzuka Circuit. Jackson will train under the mentorship and guidance of Tadayuki Okada, former MotoGP rider and senior figure within Honda Racing Corporation. Jackson has become the first Australian racer accepted into the HRS program.

To complement the HRS program, Jackson will also compete in the Suzuka Sunday Road Race Series during the season, hosted by TTR Racing. The team is spearheaded by Shinya Takeishi and supported by the expertise of Mr Ota - both gentlemen provide an abundance of experience and insight. 

The Sunday Series plays a critical role in the Japanese racing ecosystem. Many riders progress through the series into the All Japan Road Race Championship, which in turn has produced numerous competitors for Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP, as well as graduates of the Asia Talent Cup.

Upon arrival, Jackson completed the required Suzuka License Testing with the support of a translator, has been inducted to the Honda Racing School program in a Welcome Ceremony and has since completed two days of on track training. Jackson has worked solely with the HRS staff, navigating his way through the program and finishing day two with top of class performances in the fitness challenge and scoring the race win to finish a very successful program.

Jackson will then focus on the NSF250, meticulously prepared by the TTR team, with track day testing and tuning and the opening round of the Suzuka Sunday Series, later this month.
