International Podium on Debut at Suzuka Sunday

Jackson Macdonald Racing x TTR were a formidable combination at the opening round of the prestigious Suzuka Sunday Series.

Starting from P3, Jackson was surrounded by generous support from Mr Tadayuki Okada and the dynamic team of TTR with Mr Takeishi and Mr Ota as well as many new friends.

Running in the J-GP3 International Class for TTR, the class was combined with National and International racers in both the junior and senior categories.

Setting early pace with a hole shot into turn one, Jackson was up front and it was an intense battle for positions from start to finish over 10 laps of the iconic circuit.

The lead international racer, a highly experience competitor, made the early break meaning it was game-on for positions 2nd to 4th.

Jackson, sitting in third on track and ready to strike on the final lap, narrowly avoided a huge high-side from the racer holding 2nd position. With momentum shifting ever so slightly, Jackson was beaten to the line and finished in 3rd on track position. The ultimate result, was 2nd on the podium for the International JP3 category.

In only his second race event on board a Honda NSF250, and in his first FIM sanctioned international event, the podium result cannot be described as anything but phenomenal.
