It was a sweet return to the podium at the Suzuka Sunday Series, with Jackson securing 3rd place in the International JGP-3 class after a determined recovery drive at the iconic Suzuka International Circuit.
Competing in demanding summer conditions, placing both riders, teams and machinery under significant pressure.
Practice sessions on Friday provided encouraging signs, with Jackson showing the pace to qualify much further up the field. However, qualifying on Saturday did not come together as planned, placing him 10th on the starting grid. The team worked together to prepare the motorcycle for race day, giving Jackson confidence heading into Sunday's race.
The objective became clear: make a clean start, build consistent laps, work forward through the field and maximise every opportunity while keeping the championship firmly in mind.
As the leading group established an early advantage, Jackson settled into the second pack. Jackson progressed to 4th position on the circuit, leading the group and setting a new personal best lap despite spending much of the race in traffic.
Jackson secured 3rd place in the International JGP-3 class, earning his second international podium of the season, moving into second place overall in the International series standings.
"Qualifying was a tough lesson, but it is about how you respond. The team worked hard and the bike felt much stronger for the race. I'm proud that we could bring home another podium for TTR, and I know we can continue building from here."
The result reflects another important step in Jackson's international development. Every race at Suzuka provides valuable experience, and every weekend contributes to the long-term process of becoming a stronger and more complete rider.
With valuable series points collected, Jackson and TTR now turn their attention to the Suzuka Sunday Series finale in November.
