Determined performance on return to the MIR Racing Cup in Navarra, Spain

Updated: Nov 27, 2025

Kudos to Jackson for his determined performance at the penultimate round of the MIR Racing Cup in Navarra, Spain, this weekend!

The premiere Promo3 class in this series is a who’s-who of up and coming international talent, and not only was this Jackson’s first race in 11 months on Spanish soil, it was the first on board his Promo3 which he has only ridden a handful of times - and only once on a full size circuit.

Q1 was hampered by mechanical gremlins, leaving just one session to put in a solid time. Everyone had well and truly stepped up, Jackson did however significantly improve his time and qualified in 20th with just over 1 second covering 10th-20th.

On race day after the fog had lifted, Race 1 was on ‘wets’ with a damp track to contend with. After a cracking start, Jackson chipped away and made his way to 11th position at the chequers - fighting for 10th across the line.

Race 2 saw the racers on ‘slicks’. Jackson lost momentum early in the race, with the front runners breaking away quickly. Jackson mixed back and forth in his group with lots of passing throughout the race. It was a tussle to the finish line, ultimately placing 18th as the weather began to roll in.

Placing 13th overall, it was a great weekend of learning and has set the gauge for next steps. We have work to do and we are committed to closing the gap as we prepare for next season.

We thank each and everyone of our valuable supporters who back Jackson. We are humbled by all the kind messages and support.

Big things ahead for 2026 and some exciting news to be announced in the coming days. Stay tuned!
