Hartwell Series

It was a chilly April-Autumn weekend at Round 2 of the @hartwell_mcc Championship at Broadford.

Juniors raced with a dual start, combined with the Senior Commuter Lites (Yamaha R15’s). Jackson was the only junior on board the GP85 (Honda RS85cc 2-stroke) along with several other juniors on the 150cc 4-strokes.

Jackson secured pole on the grid and earned 4 wins from 4 starts across the two days. The aim was to work on specific techniques and strategies in readiness to depart for Spain in coming days, all of which were achieved ✅

It was also great to catch up with friends old and new. Thanks @shanesutcliffe9 from Honda for dropping in to say ‘hi’ and to @kazu.kuroda for sharing some of your extensive knowledge and insights with us.

It was an extra-special moment to have Jackson’s Grandma, affectionately known as Mrs Mac of Motocross, to come by for a short while from hospital to watch one of Jackson’s races.
