The highs and lows

Since his time spent with @chicholorenzoschool, Jackson has been following his off bike fitness regime and supporting his sister, @mackenziemacdonaldtkd in her Spanish Taekwondo Open campaign.

On Jackson’s arrival to @motorlandaragon with the @gaman.racing.official team, for his @mirracingcup Promo3 series preparation, he was first scheduled for a day of track time at the karting circuit.

Day 1 was to understand the new Promo3 engine, a more powerful and responsive bike than the Moto5 Jackson has been accustomed to here in Spain.

Day 2 saw a huge day of testing, fortunately for Jackson and the team, this was in both wet and dry conditions on the full size Alcarràs circuit. Jackson’s mechanic and telemetry technician were on hand collecting and developing valuable information.

Day 3 Jackson was back on track at the large karting circuit at Motorland. Jackson had some excellent laps and was creeping up on ideal times.

The day was however, unexpectedly cut short. Jackson was smooth and fast, but as a result of a high-side, Jackson suffered a fractured tibia.

Jackson’s debut in the Promo3 class will be delayed, but he is more determined than ever!
