šŸ’Ø Wind, Rain and Hail šŸŒØļø Phillip Island šŸļø had it all ā˜€ļø

What an experience at the Victorian Road Race Championships! A split cylinder head Friday, practice and qualifying on wets, to glorious sunshine on Sunday and three outright junior races wins.

Jackson was on track at the prestigious Phillip Island circuit racing his RS85cc two stroke machine against the more traditional Yamaha R15ā€™s in the junior class.

Qualifying 4th was a solid outcome considering the conditions and power weight ratio. A 32kg rider on board a 60kg two-stroke bike, in the wet is one heck of a challenge!

The qualifying position provided an opportunity in race one for some back and forth passing manoeuvres, taking the race win. By race two, Jackson was settling in and becoming more accustomed to the new brake set up and custom exhaust build power delivery. Race three was a real showcase winning by 6 seconds over the field.

Congratulations to all the riders, it was a tough but exciting weekend for all.

Jackson takes the round win šŸ† and also looks to have wrapt up the Victorian Championship, having missed out in 2023 due to a school-based incident involving a palm tree branch šŸ˜³
